Invitation to take over of three rooms during Design Parade Toulon 2024.
The installation wanted to bring visitors into the imagined home of a collector — a modern-day Robinson Crusoe, living not under water but also not really on land. This personnage gathers objects or materials that lost their purpose — like inflatables polluting the water because they don’t recycle — and brings them back to life, in useful interior pieces.
Chairs, tables, vases, lamps — each object is rescued, re-clothed, and reborn thanks to the patchworked buoys skins.
The exhibition included collaborations with Artek and Poterie Ravel.
