Sous l’Océan, Design Parade Toulon, 2024

Invited by Villa Noailles for Design Parade Toulon 2024: three rooms in the former bishop’s palace transformed into the imaginary home of a collector, a character who salvages torn inflatable buoys to give them a new lease of life.
Like a modern-day Robinson Crusoe, this character gathers forgotten materials and transforms them into living, vibrant objects. Chairs, tables, vases, lamps — each piece is salvaged, refurbished and reinvented using patchwork buoy skins, a signature material he has been working with since 2021.
From a cavernous entrance veiled in giant seaweed, to a cosy and welcoming lounge, right through to a sun-drenched dining area clad in fishing nets salvaged from the neighbouring harbour — the installation unfolds like a fictional interior: intimate, colourful and radically transformed.
The exhibition includes collaborations with Artek and Poterie Ravel.

Plastic Glamping, Paris Design Week, 2025

A shelter conceived for a solitary collector, set in a future where abandoned beach buoys become fragments of a new landscape — transformed into an unexpected form of luxury.
Through traditional techniques (patchwork, sewing, weaving, tapestry), the collected debris is transformed into furniture, architectural elements and a habitable shelter. A monumental tent welcomes visitors into an immersive interior, where translucent inflatable stained-glass panels filter the light and where fashion, furniture and architecture merge into a single artisanal language.
Rather than deprivation, the project offers a form of luxury born of time, ingenuity and the skill of the hand.
Commissioned by the Bureau du Design, de la Mode et des Métiers d’Art (City of Paris), produced with the support of INTEX. Event and partnerships organised by the Rodéo Collective agency.

Futuro Textiles 7, World Expo, Osaka, 2025

Following on from Shanghai (2010), Milan (2015) and Dubai (2021), lille3000 continues its exploration of textiles at the Osaka World Expo, in collaboration with the Japanese company Yanmar Co. Ltd, from 12 April to 31 July 2025 at Nagai Park.
Thirty-seven designers and thirty companies will present the latest textile innovations centred on nature, biosourcing, recycling and the dialogue between tradition and innovation, with contributions from the European Metropolis of Lille, the Hauts-de-France Region, Europe and Japan.

L'Été Ornementa, Galerie du 19M, Paris, 2025

Commissioned by Galerie du 19M for L'Été Ornementa: a large-scale interactive installation that transforms abandoned beach floats into a landscape of oversized sea creatures. Conceived as a summer photo backdrop, the work invites visitors to explore it.
Throughout the exhibition, the sculptures become places to climb, explore, and share. Children instinctively make the installation their own, discovering objects that resemble playmates whose personalities are revealed through interaction.

Terrain de Jeux: Where Creativity Meets Sport
Works on display: Doudoune Planisphère, a bespoke installation wrapping the gallery pillar in colours inspired by the set design.

To mark the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the City of Paris’s Bureau of Design, Fashion and Crafts presents the exhibition ‘Playground: Where Creativity Meets Sport’, exploring the intersections between design, fashion, craftsmanship and the world of sport.
The exhibition design, by Mathilde Gullaud, invites the public to step onto the creative playing field, featuring a basketball area and workshops on personalisation and upcycling.

Paradis Perdus, Paris Design Week, 2022

Invited by Galeries Lafayette Champs-Élysées to take over their historic Boardroom — the former meeting room of the First National City Bank — for a joint exhibition with Mathilde Gullaud.
The installation depicts a new world taking root on the Boardroom’s existing furniture, giving rise to the studio’s first furniture collection: a three-metre crocodile-skin sofa, six animal-themed chairs, and more. Each unique piece is crafted in Paris, transforming salvaged inflatable skins into new upholstery for the furniture.
These exotic, non-recyclable PVC materials are treated like precious leathers using traditional leatherworking and patchwork techniques. Certified cruelty-free.

An exclusive in-situ installation for La Samaritaine, showcasing furniture and objects that bring to life a new interior crafted entirely from upcycled inflatable materials. This bespoke installation forms part of the ‘Paris Gonflé’ campaign.

Set against a futuristic backdrop, this major exhibition explores the future of textiles through innovation, sport and artistic experimentation, in keeping with the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
It brings together contributions from leading names in fashion, design and innovation — including Thierry Mugler, Lacoste, Louis Vuitton, Marine Serre, Le Coq Sportif and Jean-Charles de Castelbajac — alongside emerging talents and pioneering institutions.

Tethys & the Pool Creatures, Fondation Ricard, 2022

nvited by the Paris-based contemporary art foundation, the Pernod Ricard Foundation, to unveil for the first time an inflatable installation: a collection of four inflatable figures — including a swan wedding dress, a flamingo outfit, a crocodile and an orca dress — accompanied by over thirty inflatable bags. Originally scheduled to run for just a few days, the exhibition was extended due to its enthusiastic reception.
To mark the occasion, the foundation also commissioned a limited edition of 50 bags, made from its unused tote bags and sold in bookshops.
