Parasol Tiffany, 2026
Developed as an exploration of soft stained glass, Parasol Tiffany introduces a new craft process developed in the studio, in which translucent fragments of discarded inflatables are individually bound with grey inflatable edging, recalling the lead lines of the Tiffany stained-glass method.
Inspired by the makeshift shelters of childhood, the parasol creates a suspended space beneath its canopy, inviting quiet contemplation and escape. Its eight textile panels depict a continuous landscape unfolding from dawn to night. Opened like a flower, it projects shifting fields of coloured light that drift across the surrounding landscape, transforming the ground into a living stained glass animated by the movement of the sun.
